Monthly Membership Luncheons (1st Wednesday of each month)

Monthly Mixers (2nd Wednesday of each month)
- Bring your business cards and meet other members and guests.
- Promote your business by bringing a raffle gift. The proceeds go towards our Oakridge High School Scholarship fund.
- Host a mixer at your business
- Food Bank of El Dorado County provides a no-host bar. The proceeds are earmarked for the Food Bank.
Installation Dinner (Annually in January).
Meet the staff, incoming board, members and guests. Business Awards are acknowledged.
Annual Golf Tournament and Dinner (Annually in June at the prestigious Serrano Country Club)
Scheduled for Monday, June 16, 2008.

Community Family Fair
We are proud to host an event that is designed to showcase our businesses to our community. Rent a booth and promote your business to fellow business owners and the community at large. Over 1,200 attendees! Next Community Family Fair scheduled for September 13, 2008.
Biz Walk 2008
The purpose of the Biz Walk 2008 is to canvas our business community and identify key business development and retention issues. The Biz Walk concept provides an excellent opportunity for hands-on listening to the business community, identifying common themes for action while bringing together County services and representatives of the buisness community for specific action plans.
The Biz Walk is being held Friday, March 28, 2008.

This very special event offers members, residents and prospective businesses an overview of what is upcoming in El Dorado Hills in the year and highlights recent significant developments and business ventures.

- Only Members' businesses listed both alphabetically and by type of business
- Directory is mailed to all El Dorado Hills businesses and residents. Also distributed by realtors, included in relocation packages and local welcoming services. This distribution is unique among Northern California's Chambers of Commerce.

E-News (Weekly)
Receive updates and news from the Chamber regarding business and community issues in the El Dorado Hills area. Features special events hosted by your organization - an excellent forum to highlight your products and services. EDUCATION
Business Workshop Created in 2002 with initial session on Quick Books 2003. Soon planned to include quarterly sessions on topics of interest to business owners.Please refer to our online Chamber calendar for updates on Quarterly Workshops in relevant subjects.
Now! (Network Opportunities Work!). This member benefit is held on the third Wednesday of each month from 11:30AM - 1:00 PM. The focus of NOW! is to provide small businesses with tools needed to enhance their knowledge to further "grow" their business. Expert speakers will be present and this is also an occasion to network with other business owners.

COMMUNITY SERVICE
When the El Dorado Hills Chamber contributes to these causes our members are giving as well:
Oak Ridge Scholarship Fund Five $1000 scholarships were awarded in 2007 with funds from events specifically earmarked for the fund.
Friends of the Library The Chamber contributes to the realization of the El Dorado Hills Library and has given profile to the progress in various Chamber events.
Firefighters Association The Chamber is a major supporter of the Firefighters, particularly in promoting their fundraisers with members.
Wine At Town Center The Chamber partners with the Rotary Club to promote local wineries and eateries at this lovely annual event
REPRESENTING YOU
Economic Development Task Force. Created by the Chamber in 2002 with outside funding obtained from the County and PG&E. One outcome expected is our " Buy El Dorado" campaign.
Joint Chambers. Representatives from the County, Cameron Park/Shingle Springs and El Dorado Hills Chambers join to review various legislative issues and voice to our representatives at the local, state and national level how the pending issues affect our members.
US Chamber of Commerce, California Chamber of Commerce. The El Dorado Hills Chamber is a member of these groups to share ideas, education and share a voice on issues affecting our members.
SERVICES
Certificates of Origin Validation available through the Chamber.
Grand Openings, Ribbon Cutting, Ground Breaking Ceremonies Chamber staff will help members celebrate openings and expansions.
Member Lists A set of 600+ member names & addresses labels available at $50 to members only.
Bulk Mail Members have access to the Chamber Bulk Mail Permit through the Folsom Post Office. This exclusive member benefit can save lots of money on mailings. Must obtain paperwork at the Chamber.
Referrals Incoming inquiries from the public are referred to members only with an electronic follow up to notify members of the referral.
CSD KIOSK Display members only promotional material in the Chamber kiosk at the Community Services District.
