El Dorado Hills Community Services District
The El Dorado Hills Community Services District’s mission is to improve the quality of life for El Dorado Hills residents through responsible leadership, by providing superior services and facilities, and delivering on the District’s Master Plan. The District was formed on May 21, 1962, by County Board of Supervisors Resolution No. 98-62 and under Government Code §61600 as an independent special district. The District provides programming for kids, youth, and seniors; sports and aquatics opportunities for all ages; and franchise services including telecom and waste management. The District’s boundary encompasses approximately 28 square miles (14,400 acres), and the District serves the most populated community in the county. Facilities include 27 parks (some of which are managed by LLADs), a community center, teen center, and senior center, among others. The District also provides Compliance & Design Review (CC&Rs) for 40 Villages and manages 24 active Landscape and Lighting Assessment Districts (LLADs).
